The first is to use the feed end of the spiral blade to feed.


The material enters the charging nozzle from the feed port. The nozzle is made of steel plate, and is equipped with spiral blades and partitions. The nozzle is fixed to the end of the hollow shaft with screws and rotates along with it. The hollow shaft is equipped with a sleeve and the spiral blades are welded inside the sleeve. When the nozzle and the sleeve rotate with the mill, the material entering the nozzle from the feed port enters the partition under the push of the spiral blade, and is carried by the partition into the sleeve, and the material entering the sleeve is The spiral blade is pushed into the mill body. A felt seal ring is installed between the feeding chute and the pipe to prevent leakage.


Screw feed. In this way, the position where the material enters is in the spiral sleeve of the hollow shaft of the ball mill, and the material is fed into the ball mill through the inner spiral blade. Device requirements: There are two requirements for the device. One is that the difference between the inlet radius of the scoop wheel and the radius of the scoop wheel must be greater than the accumulation height of the material. This is to prevent material leakage between the feed hopper of the ball mill and the scoop wheel. Second, in order to prevent the temperature of the main bearing from being too high, there is a certain gap between the hollow shaft and the spiral sleeve.

And the second type is the feed end in the form of a truncated cone hopper.

The material is fed into the conical ball mill through a cast iron feeding chute. The chute is supported on a support, and the material enters the conical funnel from the chute, and the funnel is embedded in the inner cavity of the journal. The funnel has a large central angle to ensure sufficient feeding. The material in the feeding funnel can quickly move along the axis into the cylinder. The steel ring acts as the grinding head liner to protect the grinding head from the erosion and wear of the material and the grinding body. . The ribs play the role of strengthening the rigidity of the grinding head and are also the support of the ring. The steel ring is connected with the grinding head by bolts. With this structure, when designing the truncated cone, the angle of inclination should be greater than the angle of repose of the material.


In this way, the material enters the tapered sleeve of the hollow shaft of the ball mill through the slide pipe. Device requirements: The cross section of the slide pipe must be oval. Advantages and disadvantages: The slide pipe required by this feeding method has a simple structure and is easy to operate. The downside is that the feed volume is too small and the production efficiency is not high. Applicable ball mill type: suitable for ball mills with larger hollow shaft journal diameters.


The third type is to use the feeding end of the feeding screw.


This feeding device is only used on some original old wet ball mills, and new ball mills are no longer used. The hollow shaft of its structure is equipped with a fixed sleeve. A separate transmission mechanism drives the bolt to rotate in the sleeve. The material is added to the sleeve through the feeding port, and the material is pushed into the grinding body under the action of the bolt.
