1. Shilong jaw crusher frame structure

ntegral frame: Due to its difficulty in manufacturing, installation and transportation, it is not suitable for large-scale jaw crushers. but it is mostly used by small and medium-sized jaw crushers. It is more rigid than the combined frame, but it is complicated to manufacture. From the perspective of manufacturing process, it is also divided into integral casting frame and integral welding frame.


Combined frame: The large-scale jaw crusher frame is very heavy, not only difficult to manufacture, but also inconvenient to transport. So it is made into a combined frame. There are two types of combined racks: one is through the inlay pins between the shelf walls, and the other is combined by welding. It is better than the combined rack connected by rigid inlay pins, and it is easier to process, assemble, and disassemble.


Integral casting frame and welding frame: the former is more difficult to manufacture, especially single-piece small batch production. while the latter is easy to process and manufacture, and the machine weight is lighter, but it requires relatively high welding technology and welding quality.


2. How to repair the cracked frame of the jaw crusher?


a. U-shaped groove on both sides using carbon arc air gouging

First select the process parameters. AX1-500 DC arc welding machine with higher power can be used to ensure the safety of the equipment. Choose copper-plated solid Φ8×355 round carbon rod and select the welding current to be about 300~400A according to the empirical formula.


At the same time, the pressure of the compressed air should also increase accordingly when the current increases because the pressure of compressed air is related to the welding current. The purpose is to make the compressed air blow away the molten metal quickly, so that the residence time of the molten metal will not be too long In order to reduce the heat-affected zone and obtain a smooth grooved surface, an air compressor with a pressure of 0.4 to 0.6 MPa is selected.


Secondly, do the carbon arc gouging process and its control work, including preparation, arc ignition and gouging. At the end of planing, the arc should be cut off first and then the air should be cut off to cool the carbon rod.


b. Manual arc welding double-sided U-shaped welding

The material of the crushing frame is ZG25, which belongs to low carbon steel. Due to the good welding performance of low carbon steel, it is generally not necessary to take special process measures to obtain a good weld. When the crushing frame body is required to have high strength, rigidity and stability under pressure, in order to ensure that the crusher will not cause excessive deformation due to the force when it is working. In addition, the working environment of the crusher is relatively harsh. If the weld seam cannot be guaranteed, the weld seam will easily crack. Therefore, the welding stress and deformation should be fully considered in the welding process to ensure the welding performance and welding of the weld joint.


c. Strengthening plate welding

The weld metal is polished smooth after the crack welding process is completed. Weld the reinforcement plate above the crack on the side A (see Figure 1) to prevent the longitudinal stress generated by the crack weld from interfering with the weld reinforcement plate. Therefore, only the vertical seams on both sides are welded (see Figure 1) when welding the reinforcement plate. For the reinforcing plate above the crack at C, the reinforcing plate can be welded according to the ordinary method without special process since the crack weld is flat welding.
