Symons 4.25ft Cone Crusher
The Symons 4.25ft cone crusher generally refers to a cone crusher with a feed opening size of the crushing cavity or a diameter of a certain key component of 4.25 feet (approximately 1.295 meters).
This kind of cone crusher is generally composed of parts such as a frame, a transmission system, a discharge adjustment device, a lubrication system, a moving cone support system, a moving cone, and a fixed cone. Its working principle is as follows: The electric motor drives the bevel gear on the transmission shaft to rotate through the coupling, and then causes the eccentric sleeve to rotate inside the central cylinder of the frame. There is a conical hole in the eccentric sleeve with a certain angle (usually around 2 degrees) deviated from the rotation center line. Inside the hole is a conical bushing. The moving cone is supported by a bronze bowl-shaped spherical bearing and can perform a swinging motion. The surfaces of the moving cone and the fixed cone are usually lined with wear-resistant steel liners. During operation, the material falls from the feed box onto the distribution plate at the upper end of the moving cone and then evenly enters the crushing cavity around the moving cone, where it is crushed by multiple impacts and compressions of the moving cone. The crushed material is discharged through the discharge opening in an open state.
